Learning Experience Design
Learning experience design is the process of creating learning experiences that enable the learner to achieve the desired learning outcome in a human centered and goal oriented way.

Hi. I’m Glenna Calame.
I’m a learning leader and learning strategist who helps organizations solve complex problems through thoughtful design, sharp consulting, and collaborative leadership. I don’t just build learning experiences, I lead the process of uncovering what truly needs to change, and how learning can drive that transformation.
My work spans the full learning lifecycle: from diagnosing performance gaps to designing scalable solutions, leading cross-functional teams, and advising stakeholders on long-term strategies. Sometimes the answer is a beautifully crafted training program. Sometimes it’s a shift in process, culture, or communication. I help clients see the difference and help them act on it.
I bring a holistic mindset to every engagement, helping organizations shape learning ecosystems that support growth, adaptability, and meaningful outcomes. Whether I’m consulting on a leadership development initiative, guiding a team through a curriculum refresh, or working with a Subject Matter Expert to find just the right words, I approach each challenge with empathy and a bias toward action.
Leadership is a big part of how I work. I create space for collaboration, ask thoughtful questions, and help teams surface their best ideas. Learning should be an experience, and I design with that in mind.
I don’t claim to have all the answers. What I do have is a deep curiosity, a love of learning, and a commitment to helping people and organizations grow. Every project teaches me something new, and that’s exactly what keeps me energized. Curiosity isn’t just part of my process, it’s how I lead.
KAWA Studios is where I channel that kick a** wicked awesome energy (yes, that’s the secret meaning) into work that’s bold, human-centered, and built to make a difference.
